Installing Xfig on OS X Leopard

<<   <    >   >>

Getting Xfig to run on Leopard with Intel was much easer than when I tried on Tiger with PPC. I installed Xcode 3.0 Developer Tools for Mac OS X v10.5 off of the CD that came with the computer. I upgraded X:

srv-5:~ usr4$ X -version
XQuartz starting:
X.org Release 7.2
X.Org X Server 1.3.0-apple10
Build Date: 20080213
srv-5:~ usr4$

I decided to try Darwin Ports instead of Fink. I used DarwinPorts-1.5.0. Installing Xfig after that was simple:

srv-5:~ usr4$ sudo port install xfig
